Zoe is an abstract visual study based on an excerpt from Italo Calvino’s novel, Invisible Cities, Cities and Signs III.

“In every city of the empire, every building is different and set in a different order. A city without figure and without form. This is not true of Zoe. Zoe is the place of indivisible existence. But why then does the city exist? What separates the inside from the outside?”
